Food Pt. 1

If some of you guys follow me on Instagram  - kathrinedo - then you probably know that I'm currently in S. California!
I come to California at least three times a year, mainly for the food. Just kidding, I have family down here as well ;)
But the culture and food in California is 10/10 and everyone always looks so good here!
But here are some places that I've stopped by so far :)

This Acai Bowl was from Bowl of Heaven in NewPort which is also near Fashion Island. I also got a pedicure at Happy Nails next to it and my dad got a manicure while we were there <-- little fun fact.

Snow Monster!!!!

I LOVE Snow Monster so much. I always stop by this place, but what really makes this place 10/10 would be their spoons. They're literally the coolest things, it looks white in this picture but when submerged into something cold (like my shaved ice) it turns blue~ wizardry.

I LOVE JUICES. Specifically cold pressed juices. Where I'm from... we don't have a cold pressed juice store which is kind of sad. I got Greens 2 and love it so much. They also have a healthy version of frozen yogurt there which is more of like frozen juice. I need to try that ASAP!

CAULDRON

This place is majestic. I'm in love and need to go back again to try every flavor. For $5 this liquid nitrogen ice cream is a STEAL. The flavor is spot on and amazing, very flavorful. The waffle puffs themselves are really good, but the ice cream tops it off. The fact that these are all made right in front of you with liquid nitrogen makes the experience even more exciting.

November Favorites

Surprisingly I don't have too many November beauty favorites. :)
I've been sticking to the few same things lately and usually don't like to wear makeup on a daily!
But, here are the things that I've been loving!

Music hasn't been too on point..

But a few songs/ artist that I forgot to mention include Taylor Swift! Her new album is sooo addicting, I'm so obsessed with Blank Space & Wildest Dreams. I honestly used to think her music was too... bleh. Just not something I would've listened to, probably because I wasn't a huge fan of country music. But, thank goodness, she has evolved!

I also forgot to mention my obsession with Epik High and their song Happen Ending!

I know.. the title of that song is on the odd side of life. "Happen"

Worst Blogger EVER

Hi guys...
I've been away from this blog for who knows how long, which is pretty much inexplainable. I know, I suck.
I think I'll open a little "Diary" section here which i can keep you guys updated on my life...
It's basically a little lifestyle almost and personal life section LOL
BUUUT, I decided to make a separate little section to keep a bunch of my logs from any trips I may take :)
Working on my labeling skills if you feel me ;D
Anyways, I'll be trying to post more often!

June 2014 BOXYCHARM Unboxing

Hi my sugar muffins :)

So! I'm currently subscribed to BOXYCHARM and I am currently SO IN LOVE with this month's box. The June box was absolutely amazing! And as you guys can tell from my unboxing video down bellow, I was definitely LOVING it.  I rate this box 5 flowers out of 5!!!! ❊ ❊ ❊ ❊ ❊




To be honest, I think that this month's box was absolutely amazing compared to last month's. THE JUNE BOX TOTALLY SLAYED THE MAY BOX OMGGGGG. Well I definitely have higher expectations for BoxyCharm now! I used the Tarina Tarantino under eye hi-lighter today and ZOMG does it really help!

OKAY~ Now for some coolio pictures

Look how cute the box is now! Right when you open its' top it greets you with an adorable "Hello Charmer!" AHHHH It's too cute, I'm so glad boxycharm changed their packaging! 

 Then you have this paper, which explains what the theme for the box is this month and a little list of products and their prices :) They also tell you what size of product you get for the month! It pretty much looks like we only got full sized products this month! HAZAAAHHHH

The total for this month's box was.... *drumroll* $93 dollars! well technically it was $92.99 but it's okay to round it up ;)

THEN YOU GET THIS GOODNESS HOLY OMG ... CAN I JUST GET A HOOYAHHHH! This box looks absolutely adorable and gorgeous when you open it, like on a scale of 1 to even I can't. I CAN'T EVEN. It's literally the cutest thing EVER! The theme is perfect too, I also love how they went with the white and gold streamers for this one :) It's too cute!

The Tarte blush is so cute! I'm actually wearing it right now at this moment while I'm sitting at this Starbucks typing this! I've been wanting one of these cheek stains for a while, but never got myself to buy one... I just thought I'd rarely use it, but after using this one and trying it out, I can say that it's pretty good so far! I'll update you guys after a month of using it lol! But, it's perfect for travel! The formulation also seems like it'll stay on all day so it's going to also be perfect for school :)
It's basically one of those all in one products, I'm probably also going to use it on my lips ;D

Probably my favorite product within this box for this month! I'm absolutely OBSESSED, even though I've only had it for like a day... EL OH EL. I used it today! It has a really weird texture, it's a bit thick for a liquidish product. But, it does the thing :) It definitely destroyed my dark circles! There's a pretty big improvement for me lol IT WORKS WONDERS so far ;)
I think this is going to be an essential for me during the school year, I'm going to have HORRENDOUS under eye circles and this should do JUST the trick!

It's a blue eyeliner, what can I say! It's a really pretty sapphire blue shade, so you'd be able to wear this on a daily basis if you'd like :) I haven't tried it quite yet on my self, but I'm pretty excited to use this as well! It's also made from a waterproof formula so I'm hoping that it'll stay on... eh 24/7!

I TRIED THIS MASCARA TODAY AND I LOVE IT! I'm totally obsessed! :) It's pretty cool, I think it's the brush that does the trick for mascaras not the formulation...
Of course though, nicer mascaras tend to stay on longer and stray from falling off your lashes compared to those that are cheaper. But it's usually the wand that does the magic for you! I've used it for one day so far and it makes my lashes look very very black and dramatic :) Just the way I like them! I mixed this mascara with the smoky lash one.. I think that's what it's called from Makeup Forever and zayummmmm do I look fierce!

Last thing in this box are nail polishes! I'm not a huge nail polish junkie but I can definitely give you my word on these since I've used so many polishes before! :)

I haven't actually tried out these polishes themselves yet... But, it'll be interesting when I do try them 

They don't seem like they'd be very opaque, but I haven't used them quite yet so DON'T take my word for them LOL! 

I'll be sure to bring them with me on my trip soon!

:D Now for some swatches!

I only have swatches of the Tarte cheek stain and the Tarina Tarantino eye liner... BUT in my video above I have a swatch of the hi-lighter as well! :)

That Random Vlog

Hello!
If you watch the video bellow, it's basically me telling you guys why I was gone LOL!




Yup! I was in Europe as well! :)
I'll be sure to do a separate blog post on Europe to show you guys the awesome places I got to visit!
I'm currently at home now and it is absolutely POURING outside!
It's been a crazy and amazing summer for me so far, it's also kind of funny how things go around like a roller coaster for me! My summer gets really exciting then really boring then REALLY exciting again~
Anyways :) I hope you guys enjoyed the little vlog!

Polaroids

It seems like everyone has been obsessed with polaroid cameras lately!
I've also recently hopped on this little "mini" polaroid camera picture band wagon ^_^
My parents used to have this classic polaroid camera that I used to love playing with, but over the past few years we have moved houses and lost the camera :(
On the brighter side! I saved up some money to buy a polaroid camera that would take littler polaroid pictures that could fit in your pocket or even a business card holder! You like ma peektureeees~?

There are these "polaroid camera's" by the brand Polaroid and there are ones by Fujifilm! They come in a bunch of awesome different colors tooooo~ The Polaroid ones come in some metallic like shades, my younger cousin has the polaroid camera by Polaroid. I think the Polaroid model's name was called the Polaroid 300. You can get it from Best Buys by clicking here. Amazon's  link~

I on the other hand I have the Fujifilm one~

You can get mine from places like Urban Outfitters for about $100, but you can also get it on Amazon and Ebay for about $65! I have white btw~
